Are you an experienced workshop leader ready to head up a premier service operation? We are seeking a high-calibre Service Manager to guide a large, dedicated team at a flagship branch in regional New South Wales.

Representing several leading brands, this established machinery dealership network values quality workmanship and robust community ties. In this pivotal role, you will manage a busy workshop environment, driving continuous improvement and elevating team capabilities.

You will take full ownership of service operations, ensuring high standards of efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Role responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a large team of technicians and apprentices, maintaining high accountability.
  • Organise and allocate daily workflow to maximise workshop throughput and turnaround times.
  • Monitor key workshop performance metrics, focusing on efficiency and minimising rework.
  • Manage complex site logistics across multiple local storage and operational yards.
  • Collaborate closely with parts and sales departments to streamline branch operations.
  • Build strong customer relationships through clear communication and accurate job costing.
Required skills:
  • Proven leadership experience managing large, diverse workshop teams.
  • Strong technical background in agricultural, heavy transport, or heavy machinery sectors.
  • High-level commercial acumen regarding workshop utilisation and transparent invoicing.
  • Proficiency with modern workshop management systems and technology.
  • Ability to thrive and problem-solve under high-pressure seasonal demands.
A competitive salary of $125,000 to $150,000 plus superannuation is on offer, along with a fully maintained company vehicle and potential relocation assistance.
