About the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Manager to lead a busy workshop in Wagga Wagga, NSW, with a leading agricultural machinery dealership group. This business is experiencing a growth phase, and you'll be instrumental in shaping the service department's future and driving its success across a large and vital regional territory.

You'll be focusing on high-level management, technical support, leading a dedicated team, and fostering strong customer engagement. If you're an energetic, customer-focused leader ready to take the next step, this is for you!

Role Responsibilities
  • Manage and direct the day-to-day work of the service team.
  • Act as the first point of contact for customer technical calls.
  • Lead the workshop job flow and administration process.
  • Mentor and train technicians and apprentices.
  • Build strong customer relationships and identify new service opportunities.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, ideally trade-qualified in Diesel Mechanics.
  • Previous experience in a service management or senior foreman role.
  • Exceptional customer-facing skills and an energetic, proactive attitude.
  • Proven leadership and excellent communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with agricultural machinery is highly desirable.
  • Good computer literacy, with experience in a DMS a bonus.
Previous exposure to Agricultural and Farming Machinery in a retail or wholesale environment would be advantageous for this position. Candidates who have experience with brands such as John Deere, Case IH, New Holland, Massey Ferguson, Fendt, Claas, Kubota, Deutz or similar are strongly encouraged to apply.
