About the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Manager to lead a busy workshop in Wagga Wagga, NSW, with a leading agricultural machinery dealership group. This business is experiencing a growth phase, and you'll be instrumental in shaping the service department's future and driving its success across a large and vital regional territory.
You'll be focusing on high-level management, technical support, leading a dedicated team, and fostering strong customer engagement. If you're an energetic, customer-focused leader ready to take the next step, this is for you!
Role Responsibilities
- Manage and direct the day-to-day work of the service team.
- Act as the first point of contact for customer technical calls.
- Lead the workshop job flow and administration process.
- Mentor and train technicians and apprentices.
- Build strong customer relationships and identify new service opportunities.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, ideally trade-qualified in Diesel Mechanics.
- Previous experience in a service management or senior foreman role.
- Exceptional customer-facing skills and an energetic, proactive attitude.
- Proven leadership and excellent communication abilities.
- Familiarity with agricultural machinery is highly desirable.
- Good computer literacy, with experience in a DMS a bonus.
