About the Job
On offer is an attractive package of approximately c. $125k (depending on experience) plus bonus, a dual cab ute, + housing/relocation assistance.
We are currently looking to speak with Service Managers or Workshop Managers, to lead this strong performing service department located in Emerald, QLD.
You may come from an Ag or truck dealership or from within the Earthmoving, Automotive dealership or aftermarket service industry, it doesn't matter - as long as you have existing Workshop leadership experience (manager, supervisor or leading hand). We will also consider experienced technicians who are ready to step up for the first time into leadership.
The ideal candidate will be a people person who is excited by the challenge of leading an established team within the service department. Strong leadership and customer service is paramount, and you will ensure that your team delivers top quality service to their valued clients. Please note, this is a small department that requires the manager to still work "on the tools" at time.
Ideally you will have:
- Proven experience in a similar role, supervising a team
- Experience mentoring, leading and helping teams to meet KPIs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Devotion to customer satisfaction and service requirements
- Strong computer literacy skills
Whilst not essential, previous exposure to Agricultural, Earthmoving, or Transport Machinery in a retail or wholesale environment would be advantageous. Candidates who have experience with leading brands such as John Deere, Case IH, New Holland, Caterpillar, Komatsu, JCB, Kenworth, Mack, Volvo, Scania or similar are strongly encouraged to apply.
