Are you a mechanically minded professional looking to transition into a high-level technical advisory role? We are seeking a Product Support Specialist to provide expert diagnostic guidance and service direction for a diverse portfolio of agricultural machinery. Based in either Melbourne or Brisbane, this role focuses on supporting dealer networks to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
Acting as a key Technical Support Representative for the region, you will utilise digital ticketing systems and phone support to troubleshoot equipment failures. Your goal is not just to provide a fix, but to build dealer capability through structured mentoring and high-quality technical documentation. While harvester experience is preferred, we welcome applications from technicians with other specialisations or those with strong mechanical aptitude seeking a career change.
Role responsibilities
- Provide accurate diagnostic support to field staff and dealers via phone and web platforms.
- Manage and monitor the escalation process for technical issues to ensure timely resolutions.
- Author and adapt technical service bulletins and documentation for the local market.
- Support product training and assist with quality audits at manufacturing sites when required.
- Analyse equipment performance and reliability to report findings back to global factories.
- Strong mechanical background in heavy vehicles, agricultural machinery, or the automotive industry.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex technical faults.
- Excellent communication skills for training and advising diverse stakeholders.
- High level of analytical thinking and the ability to interpret technical data.
- Proficiency in using digital support tools or CRM systems for case management.
