About the role

Due to growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager/Sales Consultant to build sales throughout WA and NT. The role will be performed from the Perth area and will be under a remote-working arrangement from your home.

This would suit Sales Consultants or Business Development Managers from the heavy equipment, machinery, construction equipment, Ag equipment or Automotive sectors.

Whilst our client has been selling into WA for some time, this is the first time someone will be on the ground in the state. You will responsible for nurturing those existing customers, but primarily the focus will be on finding new business. You will need to travel throughout the state visiting potential customers.

The BDM will need to lead the development and execution of a WA sales strategy, based on market research and intelligence gathered through visiting customers

You will be joining a team and support network that will assist you in achieving your goals.

Ideally you will have:
  • Sales "hunter" with significant experience in sales positions
  • Experience selling heavy equipment, machinery, construction equipment, Ag equipment, Automotive
  • The ability to work independently and be self-motivated and driven
  • The flexibility to travel throughout WA and NT
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Devotion to customer satisfaction
  • Strong computer literacy skills
An excellent remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate, with a base salary of at least $100,000, commission and a company vehicle.
